Some people chase rainbows. When Greg Bergeson was a boy, he chased lightning – experimenting with photography by capturing lightning during thunderstorms. This was a good beginning for the guy who grew up to become the mad scientist behind Barb Bergeson Studio Gallery. Greg graduated from the University of Utah as an electrical engineer, but gave it up for digital design and photography. In addition to fighting off static electricity, Greg enjoys the outdoors. He’s been lost in the desert of Utah’s San Rafael Swell, scrambled (his word) up a 14,000-foot mountain in Colorado, and jumped off a cliff at Lake Powell and lived to tell about it. When he’s not risking his life, he enjoys corralling his two boys and spending time with them on the weekends after cleaning up after them during the week.
